Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Materials Technician to join the Secaucus data center lab operations, overseeing inventory control, material tracking, and logistics across a fast‑paced environment.

You will partner with engineering, logistics, and operations to receive, store, inspect, and move critical hardware and assets, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely availability for projects and trials.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain activities.
• Knowledge of receiving, inspection, shipping, inventory control, and material handling processes.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 apps like SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day inventory management, material tracking, warehouse activities, and logistics operations.
• Receive, inspect, process, store, and track inbound and outbound materials, equipment, and assets.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, serial numbers, and shipping docs for accuracy and traceability.
• Perform SAP transactions and maintain accurate inventory records for visibility and asset tracking.
• Coordinate movement of materials between engineering, testing, failure analysis, rework, logistics, and operations teams.
• Conduct inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor material status and provide updates to stakeholders across engineering and operations.
