AMD is seeking a Product Development Engineer, Product Operations, for its Datacenter Platform Engineering Group in Secaucus/Austin. You will drive the development and manufacture of cutting-edge datacenter hardware, coordinating design through production with cross-functional teams to meet quality and timeline targets.

The role emphasizes coordination of design reviews, NPI processes, and First Article Inspections, with a focus on manufacturability and ramp-up of server/rack systems.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding hardware products from concept through development to production.
• Ability to perform DFM reviews and optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Experience with ECO processes and production updates in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing and hardware documentation.

Responsabilités

• Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering Design, Materials, Rack/Server Systems PM and others.
• Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to ensure efficient production.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and readiness timelines for new products.
• Drive NPI processes with cross-functional teams; resolve design or production issues.
• Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance on manufacturability.
• Oversee prototype builds and First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Coordinate ECOs during transition to volume production.
• Validate assembly instructions and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure final products meet specifications and quality standards for ramp-up.
