Intel in California seeks an experienced Data Center Manager to design, implement, and maintain the DC infrastructure that supports hardware development and Enterprise Services. You will partner with development and enterprise teams to improve automation, reliability, and delivery velocity.

This role emphasizes high availability, security, and cost optimization while guiding site facilities, power, cooling, and capacity management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as required.
• 6+ years with Bachelor’s, or 4+ years with Master’s in infrastructure or DevOps.
• Proficiency in DevOps, ITIL, and Data Center standards (Uptime).
• Strong knowledge of data center operations, power, cooling, and capacity management.
• Experience with telemetry and performance monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provision, and maintain DC infrastructure to support hardware development and Enterprise Services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in the pipeline using telemetry and KPIs.
• Manage DC operations with high availability, performance, and reliability via proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners for facility requirements, power, cooling, and data center capacity.
• Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and ability to troubleshoot complex infra challenges.
• Communicate effectively across diverse teams.
