About the Role:

As a CBRE Data Center Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing preventative maintenance andrepair services to a client or small building. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenanceservices in critical client environments.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and supervise engineering personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign work orders and provide technical training and mentorship
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for facility equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with clients to minimize business disruption.
  • Monitor and maintain critical systems including HVAC, fire alarm, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems.
  • Verify quality and completion of engineering work and ensure facilities remain operational and compliant.
  • Respond to emergencies and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex facility issues.
  • Drive operational improvements, resource planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build relationships with clients, vendors, and senior leadership to support business objectives.
  • Promote and model CBRE RISE values and safety standards.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma / GED or trade school diploma – 5+ years of engineering, maintenance or facility operations
  • Strong knowledge of the following:
    • HVAC systems
    • Chilled Water Systems
    • Clean Dry Air Systems
    • Process Chilled Water
    • Vacuum Systems
    • BMS/BAS/SCADA platforms
    • Electrical Systems
    • Alarms and Lighting Systems
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing, walking, standing, and working in industrial environments.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising,and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performanceexpectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline anddepartment.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
