Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician to support hyperscale data center operations in Duluth, GA. You will perform critical preventive maintenance on UPS, generators, and cooling systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

You will follow defined SOPs/LOTO safety protocols, monitor energy usage, and inspect installations for codes and safety. The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years in critical infrastructure preferred.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and safety protocols.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on UPS, generators, and cooling systems to ensure uptime.
• Support energy management and verify building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and safety.
• Follow established procedures and exchange information clearly.
• Contribute to team tasks and deliver outputs under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with incident response as needed.
