Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to join our Nevada operations at the McCarran-Sparks facility, performing on-site electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance under supervision of the Client Project Manager.

The role involves routine maintenance tasks, HVAC filter checks, lighting, painting, and minor repairs, with opportunities to participate in special projects and seasonal tasks.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: HVAC, Critical Facility Maintenance, and Construction Finishing are a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in a range of maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Must be able to work from heights.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance Tasks: cleanup, touch-up painting, tool inventory, door repairs, signage mounting.
• Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry Tasks: replace bulbs, fix leaks, basic carpentry repairs.
• Industrial Cleaning and Mechanical Tasks: industrial cleaning and light-duty mechanical tasks.
• HVAC and Lighting Maintenance: monitor/replace HVAC filters and lighting bulbs.
• Furniture and Event Setup: hang wall art, move furniture, arrange tables and chairs for events.
• Seasonal Tasks: snow removal, landscaping and outdoor clean-up.
• Special Projects: carpet cleaning/replacement, other client PM driven tasks.
