Job summary

Aligned Data Centers seeks a proactive Maintenance/Facilities Manager to coordinate with Facility Directors, schedule preventative maintenance, and manage related budgets for critical facilities. You will drive PM calendars, review vendor reports, enforce change control, and mentor in-house and contractor PMs while partnering with internal teams on tours, sustainability initiatives, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Facility Manager(s) and Site Director(s) to schedule maintenance and project work.
• Develop and manage the preventative maintenance calendar for the facility(s).
• Generate, distribute, and oversee all notifications for preventative maintenance, contracted maintenances, and general maintenances.
• Foster partnerships via routine communication with customers and vendors.
• Establish and enforce contracts to support the MEP infrastructure and validate contractual agreements are being followed.
• Coordinate scheduling, development and support for preventive maintenance activities.
• Review vendor reports and inspection records to identify faulty equipment and provide necessary docs to FM/Dir.
• Facilitate coordination of mechanical/electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs.
• Lead new asset integration for Operations in collaboration with Service Delivery.
• Ensure conformance with change control development, approvals, and execution.
• Review and approve change requests, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs; route for FM approval.
• Assist with reviewing internal change requests, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for maintenance.
• Mentor in-house and contractor PMs; evaluate and monitor maintenance efforts.
• Continuously evaluate all building systems for efficient operations.
• Partner with internal departments to support tours, fit-outs, events, and sustainability initiatives.
• Support audits; prepare documentation and scheduling with onsite staff.
• Assist in budgeting for OPEX and CAPEX for facilities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and directives for building operations.
• Promote safety practices among employees and contractors.
• Forecast electrical and mechanical capacity for facilities.
• Lead culture and career development within operations teams.
• Serve as technical resource for building specifics and infrastructure.
