Job summary

SISL Global is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Data Centre Operations Engineer to install, operate, and maintain critical low-voltage infrastructure within a data centre environment in Minnesota. You will collaborate with IT, Facilities, Network, and Security teams to ensure reliability and compliance of cabling, security, BMS, and related systems.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation, asset tracking, and support for upgrades and expansions across racks and cabinets.

Qualifications

Experience installing and maintaining low-voltage systems in data-centre environments.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and maintain documentation/asset inventories.
Collaborates with IT, Facilities, Security to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain low-voltage systems within the data centre to ensure reliability.
Ensure continuous operation of critical infrastructure with minimal downtime.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and health checks.
Support commissioning/decommissioning for racks, cabinets, and infrastructure.
Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and asset inventories.
Coordinate with network teams for rack-and-stack activities and audits.
