Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Cedar Rapids is hiring a Data Center Logistics Associate to manage inventory, coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, and assist with server rack assembly in a fast-paced data center environment.

You will work a daytime shift, maintain organized storage and docking areas, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient operations. No formal relocation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; proficiency in basic office software (Excel/Word).
• Ability to lift and move heavy material up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: record incoming inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Shipping and Receiving: coordinate shipments and prepare documents.
• Facility Maintenance: keep work areas clean and organized.
• Compliance and Safety: follow safety protocols and access controls.
• Support and Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to meet inventory needs.
• Assembly: assist in setup and installation of server racks.
