Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate to support inventory management, shipping/receiving, and facility upkeep for our data center operations.

You’ll help ensure accurate stock records, coordinate shipments with suppliers and carriers, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. The role requires basic math skills, 1 year of logistics experience, and ability to lift/move heavy items with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of logistics, inventory management, or related experience.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software (Excel, Word).
• Ability to lift and move items and operate material handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and prepare shipping documents.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and docks; assist with disposal of packaging.
• Adhere to safety protocols and data center security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
• Assist in setup/installation of server racks and cable management under guidance.
