Job summary

CSS is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate to support material flow and inventory operations within a mission-critical data center. You will manage secure, high-value IT hardware movement using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accurate receiving, staging, and distribution of equipment in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in logistics or related field.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and networking components; logistics software experience preferred.
• Adherence to security protocols and safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures.
• Basic computer and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage delicate, high-value equipment requiring precise handling.
• Receive, log, and process inbound shipments; verify quantities and condition.
• Prepare, pack, label, and stage outbound shipments; assemble packing lists.
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts into inventory systems.
• Relocate, consolidate, and organize materials within storage and staging areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation (logs, BOLs, delivery receipts, invoices).
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate transportation and deliveries between storage locations and data centers.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners for timely movement.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics and material-handling processes.
• Assist with other logistics-related duties as needed.
