Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced data center liquid cooling project manager to lead planning, estimation, and execution of advanced cooling infrastructure for hyperscale and AI white-space fit-outs. You will coordinate across engineers, manufacturers, and contractors to deliver high-density cooling systems.

The role requires 7+ years in data-center/mechanical management, travel ~50% nationwide, and a strong track record with D2C cooling, CDUs, manifolds, and integration with IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project, construction, or technical management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing liquid cooling projects in hyperscale, AI, or other high-density data centers.
• Experience overseeing installation, filling, flushing, pressure testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, submittals, and construction documents for constructability.
• Willingness to travel ~50% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead liquid cooling projects from design coordination through installation and turnover.
• Oversee direct-to-chip cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, CDU manifolds, pumps and piping.
• Coordinate cooling systems with IT equipment, power, containment and overhead infrastructure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement, subcontractors and quality.
• Serve as technical liaison among Align, clients, engineers, manufacturers, and operators.
