Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced data center liquid cooling project manager to lead planning, estimation, and execution of advanced cooling infrastructure for hyperscale and AI white-space fit-outs. You will coordinate engineers, contractors, and vendors across the US, balancing design, procurement, installation, testing, and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data centers, direct-to-chip cooling, and strong project management skills, with 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project, construction, or technical management experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing liquid cooling projects in hyperscale or AI environments.
• Practical knowledge of direct-to-chip cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, CDUs and related systems.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, manufacturers and commissioning agents.
• Strong ability to translate design requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center liquid cooling projects from design coordination through installation and turnover.
• Oversee direct-to-chip cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with IT, electrical, and containment teams to integrate cooling with racks and power.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Serve as technical liaison among Align, clients, engineers, and vendors.
