Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced data center liquid cooling specialist to lead planning, estimating, and execution of advanced cooling infrastructure for hyperscale and AI data center white-space fit-outs. The role requires coordinating engineers, manufacturers, and contractors across nationwide sites.

The ideal candidate has hands-on technical expertise and strong project management skills, with 50% travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading liquid cooling projects in data center environments.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers, contractors and manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and integration with IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center liquid cooling projects from design coordination through installation, commissioning, and turnover.
• Oversee cooling components including CDUs, piping, pumps, and heat exchangers and their integration with racks and power.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and field teams to identify design conflicts and provide practical solutions.
• Direct mechanical subcontractors and field personnel during installation and ensure QA/QC.
• Coordinate testing, flushing, and commissioning activities and verify system readiness.
