Job summary

Align Communications in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Field Project Manager for Data Center Liquid Cooling. This full-time role leads advanced cooling infrastructure planning, estimation, and execution for hyperscale and AI data centers, coordinating engineers, manufacturers, and construction teams.

The position requires about 50% travel nationwide and offers a competitive salary with full benefits, project bonuses, and advanced training. Travel to project sites is a core component of the role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data centers or mission-critical facilities management.
• Experience leading liquid cooling projects in hyperscale or AI data centers.
• Ability to travel ~50% across the United States.
• Strong coordination of engineers, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead liquid cooling projects from design through turnover.
• Oversee direct-to-chip cooling, rear-door exchangers, CDU, manifolds.
• Coordinate with IT equipment, power, containment, and overhead infrastructure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, quality, and documentation.
• Serve as technical liaison among Align, clients, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and operators.
