Job summary

Meta seeks a Lease Construction Manager to oversee delivery of leased data center facilities powering our global infrastructure. You will serve as Meta's owner’s representative on colocation and build-to-suit projects, ensuring shell, core, and tenant improvements meet specifications and schedule.

You will partner with real estate, design engineering, and data center operations from lease execution through handover, coordinating across sites, managing budgets, and driving risk mitigation and QA.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in construction management with data center experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and safety standards.
• Experience with lease or colo data center projects and handover processes.
• Proficient in project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with AI tools and modern workflow optimization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as owner's representative on leased data center construction projects.
• Review landlord construction documents for alignment with standards.
• Monitor progress at colocation and build-to-suit sites and visit sites regularly.
• Coordinate tenant improvements and manage GC and subcontractors.
• Track schedules, budgets, and change orders; report status to stakeholders.
• Lead milestone reviews, factory acceptance tests, and system testing.
• Identify risks and delays; drive resolution with landlords and developers.
• Coordinate transition from construction to commissioning and handover.
• Track landlord delivery obligations and punch list milestones.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of construction standards and playbooks.
