Job summary

Lambda is seeking a data center technician to join the Infrastructure deployments team. You will be the on-site face of Lambda to vendors and contractors for data center deployments, responsible for completing deployments and improvements of Lambda's integrated data center solutions.

You will collaborate with teammates and cross-functional teams to pilot new technologies and deploy large AI/ML clusters. You will interface with Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations and integration, preferably in a leadership role.
• Experience with large scale data center and infrastructure deployments.
• Understanding of data center design, deployment, and architecture.
• Understanding of deployment planning.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to data center operations.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address data center challenges.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary deployment member for major cluster/data center deployments and support smaller on-premise deployments as needed.
• Develop deployment plans and technical AI infrastructure configurations for data center builds.
• Collaborate with Hardware/Software Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations during planning and execution.
• Interface with vendors to guide build-out to meet exacting standards and requirements.
• Understand power and cooling requirements and cabling needs for HPC environments.
• Drive data center integration strategies and align them with business goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure deployment quality and speed.
