Job summary

Kidwell is seeking a Data Center Journeyman Electrician in Nebraska. You will train apprentices, represent Kidwell on the jobsites and with customers and trade partners, and work with the Foreman to coordinate and complete job requirements.

Requires Nebraska Journeyman license, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to travel with per diem. Expect to work with contractors onsite, maintain safety standards, and perform occasional weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• Nebraska Journeyman license required.
• State licensure in other states may be needed.
• Minimum 4 years of field experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Must pass physical exam, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and complete job requirements with the Foreman.
• Supervise and train apprentices on the project.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of areas.
• Collaborate with general contractor and trade partners to meet timelines.
• Install and repair electrical systems within scope of the job.
• Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA and project safety rules.
• Work overtime and occasional Saturdays/Sundays as needed.

Brief Description

Kidwell is seeking a highly-motivated individual to fill the role of Data Center Journeymen Electrician for Nebraska. This individual must be team oriented and possess the qualities of positivity, honesty, and attention to detail. Candidates also need great organizational skills and must be quality communicators. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will not only train apprentices, but will represent Kidwell on the jobsites and in front of customers and trade partners.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the project/area/package Foreman to coordinate, plan, and complete job requirements
• Supervise and train apprentices on your project/area/package
• Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects/areas/packages
• Work effectively with the general contractor, trade partners and other contractors on-site to maintain project timelines
• Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within the scope of the job
• Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
• Earn competitive wages and overtime and must be able to work multiple Saturdays and possible Sundays.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• State of Nebraska Journeyman’s license is required
• Licensing in other states may be needed

• Experienced in Data Center work or commercial industrial electrical work preferred.

• Must possess good leadership and people skills
• Minimum of 4 years of field experience is preferred
• Candidates must have a driver's license
• All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam, criminal background check, and drug screening (One Source Level 2+ or equivalent level)
