Job summary

Kidwell is seeking a highly-motivated Data Center Journeyman Electrician to support Louisiana projects. This role requires a Nebraska Journeyman license, a team orientation, and the ability to represent Kidwell on jobsites and in front of customers and trade partners.

You will supervise apprentices, coordinate with foremen, uphold OSHA safety standards, and travel as needed with competitive per diem. Strong communication and leadership are essential as you deliver high-quality electrical work

Qualifications

• Journeyman license is required for the role.
• Experience in data center work or commercial/industrial electrical work preferred.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills required.
• Must be willing to travel and work Saturdays/Sundays as needed.
• Candidate must pass physical, background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project Foreman to coordinate, plan, and complete job requirements.
• Supervise and train apprentices on your project/area.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure timely project completion.
• Collaborate with general contractor, trade partners, and other contractors on-site to maintain timelines.
• Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within scope.
• Maintain a safe work environment complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Earn competitive wages and overtime; possible weekend work.

Do You Have What It Takes

• State of Nebraska Journeyman’s license is required
• Licensing in other states may be needed
• Looking for individuals willing to travel but compensated with competitive per diem
• Experienced in Data Center work or commercial industrial electrical work preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills are required
• Must possess good leadership and people skills
• Minimum of 4 years of field experience is preferred
• Candidates must have a driver's license
• All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam, criminal background check, and drug screening (One Source Level 2+ or equivalent level)
