Kidwell Inc. seeks Mission Critical (Data Center) Apprentice Electrician who is open to traveling nationally to support electrical installation, repair, and commissioning at data center sites across the country.

Ideal candidates hold the Nebraska Electrical Apprentice License (or apply before starting) and have a preference for an associate degree in electrical technology. Strong leadership, communication, and safety awareness are essential for this role with competitive wages and per diem

Qualifications

• Must hold Nebraska Electrical Apprentice License or apply before starting work.
• Associates degree in electrical technology or similar field preferred but not required.
• Experience in Mission Critical (Data Center) or commercial/industrial electrical work preferred but not required.
• Candidates must have good leadership and people skills; ability to pass physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Work will be nationwide on mission critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Earn competitive wages and overtime; ability to work multiple Saturdays and possible Sundays.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit; drill holes for wiring and pulls.
• Electrical metering and troubleshooting; gather tools and supplies for job sites.
• Install fixtures and create a safe work environment meeting OSHA regulations.

Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Mission Critical (Data Center) Apprentice Electrician, open to traveling nationally.

These individuals must be team-oriented and possess the qualities of positivity, honesty, and attention to detail. Candidates also need great organizational skills and must be quality communicators. We want everyone to have a first-rate experience when partnering with Kidwell, and Apprentice Electricians will directly represent Kidwell on job sites and in front of our customers and trade partners.

This Position will be traveling to Monroe, Louisiana, with a daily per diem of $170.

Projected Annual Earnings: $135k+

What You’ll Do

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
• Drill holes for wiring and pulls
• Electrical metering and troubleshooting
• Gather tools and supplies to be used at work site
• Install fixtures
• Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
• Assist our cabling and special systems teams when needed to install, configure and troubleshoot low voltage electronic systems including: nurse call, CCTV, access control, sound systems and audio-visual systems.
• Opportunities to take on a variety of other tasks based on skill set and interests

Do You Have What It Takes?

• Candidates must possess a current State of Nebraska Electrical Apprentice License. If not currently licensed, candidates must apply before starting work.
• Associates degree in electrical technology (or similar field) preferred but not required
• Experienced in Mission Critical (Data Center) work or commercial industrial electrical work preferred but not required
• Candidates must have good leadership and people skills Ability to pass physical exam, drug screening, and background check (One Source 2+ or equivalent level).
• Must maintain a valid driver's license
• Work will be nationwide working on mission critical facilities.
