Job summary

SST Direct is seeking skilled Iron Workers to support the construction and buildout of a large-scale data center campus in Southaven, MS. This hands-on role involves working with structural steel, miscellaneous metals, equipment supports, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities include erecting and installing structural components, reading drawings, and coordinating with other trades on site. Safety and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Iron Worker / Structural Steel experience preferred.
• Experience on industrial, commercial, data center, or other large construction projects.
• Knowledge of steel erection, rigging, bolting, and structural installation.
• Comfortable working at heights and in an active construction environment.
• Strong safety awareness and work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced construction team.

Responsibilities

• Erect and install structural steel, beams, columns, and supports.
• Install miscellaneous metals and equipment supports.
• Bolt, connect, align, and secure structural components.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and rigging equipment.
• Work safely at heights and around active construction operations.
• Follow all site safety requirements and procedures.
• Coordinate with other trades and construction crews.
