Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Travel Iron Worker to support high‑profile data center and AI compute projects. You will erect structural steel, install stairs, ladders, and platform systems, and coordinate with multiple trades on site.

This contract‑to‑hire role requires 3+ years of ironworking experience, safe work practices, and ability to read drawings; onsite in Atlanta, GA with a competitive $30‑$60/hour pay and per diem.

Qualifications

• 3+ years ironworking experience on commercial or industrial projects.
• Ability to read structural and erection drawings and work to AISC details.
• Hands-on with bolt-up, cutting, and safe use of lifts and access equipment.

Responsibilities

• Erect structural steel for data centers and facilities.
• Install stairs, ladders, platforms, catwalks and supports.
• Fabricate and install pipe racks, mezzanines and distribution for cooling.
• Rig, hoist and set heavy steel using cranes and rigging.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and electrical crews for embeds and supports.
