Job summary

Jobtailor in Texas seeks an entry-level Inventory and Logistics Associate to support receiving, stocking, and shipping operations. You'll work with data center teams to ensure accurate records and safe handling of hardware, racks, and cables.

You will perform stock checks, assist in assembling server racks, coordinate with carriers, and maintain clean work areas while following safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory accurately.
• Maintain inventory records and document items received and shipped.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Assist with assembly of server racks and cable management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and data center security measures.
