Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Associate to manage incoming inventory, track stock levels, and coordinate shipments. You will work closely with procurement and operations to ensure accurate records and timely handling of hardware components.

The role involves assembling and organizing server racks, using forklifts and pallet jacks, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics certifications preferred.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and manage incoming inventory including racks, trays, networking equipment, and other hardware.
• Maintain inventory records, documentation, stock counts, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging.
• Upload, unpack, inspect, and transport shipments using material handling equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized storage and shipping/receiving areas.
