Job summary

Genesis Technical Staffing, Inc. seeks a Mid-Level I&C Engineer for a direct hire role in Houston, TX. You will support the Engineering Lead and handle the electrical scope across data center projects, with hybrid onsite/remote work.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical or Controls Engineering, 5–10 years in controls/instrument design, EPC experience, and familiarity with industry standards. EIT/PE is a plus. Local candidates only, relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Educational: BS in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
• EIT or PE is a plus.
• 5–10 years of experience in controls and instrument design.
• Experience with EPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager.
• Check and approve drawings and designs; interface communication.
• Ensure electrical scope meets customer requirements and safety standards.
• Assist with plant support during manufacturing, troubleshooting onsite installations.
