The role requires 5–7 years of experience in control systems design and field work, with travel up to 25%. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5–7 years field experience or higher.
  • Design and servicing of control systems for chiller plants and data center HVAC.
  • Ability to read mechanical and control schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with BAS startup, configuration, calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with OT/IT networks and standard office software.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control system solutions for SCADA/Automation projects, including design documents and narratives.
  • Create subsystem designs (CAD, panels, layouts, wiring, SCADA screens, hardware, communications).
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot controllers, PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and prepare test reports.
  • Commission deployed systems and develop testing equipment and simulations.
  • Perform factory and field testing, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Support cost estimation, scope review, and change orders with senior engineers.
  • Assign tasks and provide technical direction and training to team members.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections for project planning and execution.
