Job summary
CGP Data Center and Cloud Solutions in Houston, TX seeks a Controls Engineer to design, develop, install, and maintain equipment used to monitor and control data-center systems. You will work on power monitoring, SCADA, EPMS, BAS, and field controllers across mission-critical environments, with emphasis on reliability and safety.
Responsibilities include assisting senior engineers with design documents, reviewing third-party plans, programming PLCs/RTUs/HMI, testing and commissioning, and
Qualifications
- Experience reading electrical and control schematics.
- Experience with EPMS startup, configuration and calibration.
- Experience with SCADA/Fault Data/SER/Integration-Automation equipment.
- Understanding of power systems protection and control schemes.
- Ability to read/interpret project specifications and testing plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design documents for SCADA/Automation projects.
- Review third-party design documents for project compliance.
- Program/configure/troubleshoot PLCs/RTUs/HMI systems.
- Prepare test reports and commissioning procedures.
- Perform maintenance and field testing on deployed systems.
- Travel up to 25% to client sites.
