Job summary

CPG in Houston, TX is seeking a Controls & Integration Engineer II, Electrical to design, program, test, and commission control systems for data centers and critical environments. You will work with SCADA/HMI, EPMS, BAS, and field devices, collaborating with senior engineers to produce design documents, testing plans, and operation narratives.

Travel up to 25% may be required. This role requires strong experience with electrical control systems and field device configurations to support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 2-5 years field experience.
Experience reading electrical and control schematics and EPMS startup/configuration.
Experience with power monitoring systems startup, configuration, calibration, and testing.
Experience with 3-phase power systems and protection schemes.
familiarity with BAS and field controller programming is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior Engineers in design documents for SCADA/Automation projects and develop design narratives.
Review 3rd party design documents for SCADA/Automation projects and perform scope gap analyses.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot Controllers, PLCs, RTUs, and HMI systems.
Assist in creating and updating testing and commissioning procedures and test reports.
Perform maintenance tasks including hardware/software upgrades on existing systems.
Assist in preparation of cost estimates and review project scope with stakeholders.
