E2 Optics in Denver is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Technician to support cabling, racks, patch panels, and basic testing in cutting-edge data centers.

You will follow safety policies, learn from senior techs, and participate in labeling, cable management, and basic punch-downs while contributing to a reliable, high-performance infrastructure. This hands-on role offers growth through certifications and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience testing equipment/cabling and building out racks.
• Knowledge of RJ45 terminations and patch panels.
• Comfortable with color-coded wiring.
• Safety-focused with commitment to quality.
• Willing to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• OSHA 10 certification within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Pull, dress, and label cabling according to standards.
• Begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations with guidance.
• Assist in labeling and cable identification.
• Learn and perform basic punch-downs for telecom blocks.
• Support cable testing using basic tools under supervision.
• Gain exposure to fiber cable dressing and basic handling.
• Take direction from senior technicians and supervisors.
