Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician for an onsite role in Houston, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation, supporting critical environment services.

You will react to BMS alarms, perform routine PMs, and work with vendors to ensure compliance with procedures, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes precise, safe, and dependable maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Training in a technical discipline with an apprenticeship or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• Ensure environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
