Job summary

IREN in Childress, Texas, is seeking a High Voltage Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable power delivery for critical data center infrastructure. This full-time onsite role reports to the US Operations Manager and collaborates with the operations and engineering teams.

You will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HV equipment, conduct switching and grounding procedures, and monitor transformers, circuit breakers, and relays in accordance with NFPA 70E and OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training in electrical systems.
• 5+ years experience with high-voltage power systems.
• Familiarity with protective relays, NFPA 70E, OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective HV maintenance.
• Conduct switching, isolation, and grounding procedures.
• Monitor transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and battery banks.
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain records in CMMS and assist with capacity planning.
