Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support commercial HVACR service across North America.

The role involves maintenance, repair and installation of commercial heating and cooling systems, with emphasis on field service and customer-facing problem solving. Candidates will work with branch teams, may travel 10–20%, and must have extensive hands-on experience with rooftop units, pumps, chillers, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years in Commercial/Industrial HVAC troubleshooting.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon components.
• Must possess ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training (or certifiable).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and troubleshooting for commercial HVACR equipment.
• Install complete HVAC systems including chillers, rooftops, plumbing and supporting systems.
• Prepare quotes and recommend solutions to optimize facility operations.
