Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Data Center Service Manager to lead data center technician teams at our Hubbard, TX site, ensuring reliable startup, commissioning, and warranty support of industrial HVAC systems. You will mentor technicians, supervise onboarding, safety programs, and field operations while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical/service operations.
• 3+ years’ experience managing and/or training field service teams, including union technicians.
• Experience working with unions is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer-facing representative and promote the Carrier brand.
• Lead hiring for local Data Center technicians and select qualified candidates.
• Oversee onboarding, safety orientation, training, and provisioning of equipment.
• Serve as union liaison and maintain positive relations with union reps.
• Conduct site safety inspections and quarterly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with master scheduler to meet local staffing needs.
