Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HSE Manager for Data Centers to lead comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs across our critical facilities. The role focuses on safeguarding employees, contractors, and infrastructure, with emphasis on uptime and regulatory alignment.

You will develop specialized procedures, manage high-risk hazards, and collaborate with Facilities Engineering to drive safe, reliable operations in a 24/7 data center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant HSE experience in data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, OSHA 30-hour) preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of complex technical safety information under pressure.
• Strong leadership to motivate teams and manage contractors.

Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive safety culture across 24/7 data center environments.
• Implement and review HSE playbooks, RAMS, and emergency plans for critical facilities.
• Standardize initiatives to drive regulatory alignment and efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate high-risk hazards such as arc flash, LOTO, and working at heights.
• Develop and implement risk-management programs to avoid incidents and downtime.
• Analyze injury and near-miss data to drive CAPA actions.
• Ensure HSE regulatory compliance across portfolio environments.
• Collaborate with Facilities Engineering and Mission Critical teams to maintain uptime and safety.
• Conduct regular facility audits and report findings to site managers.
• Model CBRE RISE values and align stakeholders to rigorous safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HSE challenges within mechanical and electrical systems.
