Job summary

CBRE seeks a Health, Safety, and Environment Associate to lead safety in complex facilities, including high-voltage environments. You will develop operational guidance and work with data center and building operations teams to enforce SOPs and emergency plans.

You will help prevent incidents, ensure environmental compliance, and support frontline technicians. Strong communication and data analysis will be essential to improve performance and drive cost-effective safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of processes, procedures, and concepts within own job function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content concisely.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with developing and implementing complex strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Verify permits, licenses, applications, and records for compliance purposes.
• Present inspection records, complaints, and suspected violations with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients, and employees about advanced control regulations and inspection findings.
• Assist in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems with little precedent.
• Impact own team and related teams, and suggest process improvements for efficiency.
