The Regional Safety Engineer will own the health and safety function for the area, improving center safety, culture, and employee protection across its operations. The role involves collaborating with data center engineers, security, construction, operations, logistics, compliance and HR to advance safety programs, assess risks, and implement safe changes during

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.
4+ years in compliance program management, governance, audit, or risk prevention.
8+ years in related experience is acceptable as an alternative.

Responsibilities

Implement health and safety standards, policies and practices across data centers and sites.
Conduct health and safety audits of data centers and ongoing construction sites.
Ensure compliance with global health and safety programs and regulatory requirements.
Develop health and safety plans for on-site emergencies, business continuity, and events.
Maintain safety records and data integrity for audits and leadership reviews.
Perform data trend analysis to support safety initiatives.
Collaborate with AWS compliance for interpretations and guidance.
Identify risks and work with Operations to remediate using controls.
Interact daily with customers to provide health and safety guidance.
