Job summary

Adag Group seeks an experienced Fire Protection / Firefighting Engineer to support a major data center project in Ohio. You will coordinate design implementation, installation, testing, and authority compliance of fire protection systems within an integrated EPC team.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience and a strong knowledge of fire protection system design, installation, testing and acceptance, plus familiarity with fire codes and approvals. Ohio project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience delivering fire protection systems on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection design, installation, testing and acceptance.
• Familiarity with fire codes, approvals and coordination with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review fire protection drawings, hydraulic calculations and submittals.
• Coordinate sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump and water storage interfaces.
• Coordinate fire protection with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems.
• Monitor installation, testing, inspections, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance.
• Maintain documentation and turnover materials for final project delivery.
