Network Connex Company seeks a Field Technician (L2) to install and cabling in live data centers, ensuring safety and quality standards. The role involves reading schematics, routing, terminating, labeling and testing copper and fiber cabling, and mentoring junior technicians.

Travel to regional data centers may be required; overtime, holidays, and off-hours work are possible. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are preferred to support rapid deployment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of documented industry experience in data center, structured cabling, or field service environments.
• Documentation of fiber optic testing certifications (OTDR/OLTS).
• Possession of relevant certifications (BICSI, CompTIA A+/Network+/CCNA) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Execute installation services in accordance with contracts, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, QA and QC standards.
• Perform installation and cabling services, including routing, terminating, labeling, and testing copper and fiber.
• Read cable maps, schematics, and floor plans to support installations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking, and service reports for all work.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and teams to meet milestones and quality standards.
