Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our infrastructure engineering team. The role focuses on installing, servicing, and maintaining low voltage cabling, with emphasis on racking and stacking data center equipment.

You will follow MOP/CMOP guidelines, validate port maps, and support power distribution tasks. The position requires an associate degree or technical certification and knowledge of BICSI/ANSI/EIA/TIA standards, with preferred certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in technology services or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining low voltage cable infrastructure systems.
• Ability to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables.
• Familiarity with industry standards including BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and NEC.
• Industry and manufacturer-specific certifications preferred (e.g., BICSI TECH).

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain low voltage cabling and communications cabling.
• Rack and stack equipment; perform cable management tasks.
• Read port maps; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Follow MOP/CMOP guidelines and safety procedures.
• Respond to emergencies; coordinate with team to meet SLAs.
