Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in California is seeking a Data Center Technician to join the infrastructure engineering team. You will install, service, and maintain low voltage cabling, rack and stack equipment, inspect fiber and copper connections, and follow MOP/CMOP guidelines to ensure reliable data-center operations.

You will work with the team to complete projects on time, handle service swaps of live devices, maintain documentation, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in a technology services/technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience installing, servicing, and maintaining low voltage cable infrastructure systems.
• Ability to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain low voltage cabling and communications cabling.
• Rack and stack equipment; assist with cable management.
• Read and validate port maps; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Follow MOP and CMOP guidelines.
• Complete documentation in written and electronic formats; maintain inventory.
• Respond to emergency situations and meet SLAs.
