Job summary

E2 Optics is seeking a hands-on Project Supervisor to lead installation teams for data center cabling projects in the United States. You will read plans, guide technicians, and ensure work aligns with the SOW and industry standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, coaching, and maintaining safe, professional site operations while ensuring timely project delivery and high-quality workmanship. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Formal education and certifications relevant to structured cabling and project management.
• Experience supervising installation teams and scheduling work.
• Knowledge of safety standards and PMBOK guidelines.
• Ability to read floor plans and wiring specs.
• Certifications listed (BICSI, OSHA) completed within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of installation for data center projects.
• Plan, organize and direct personnel, resources and materials.
• Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specs, and cut sheets.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
• Maintain 2-5 week look ahead schedule with Scheduling.
• Coach and mentor technicians; lead by example in safety and professionalism.
• Ensure work adheres to SOW, project plans and industry standards.
• Provide status reporting and contribute to continuous improvement.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree preferred

OSHA 30

BICSI Installer 2 Copper

BICSI Installer 2 Fiber

BICSI RTPM Certification

BICSI Installer 2 Certification

PMBOK knowledge

Supervisory/training experience

Ability to read/interpret plans
