Job summary

Pogue Construction, a family-oriented ESOP company, is seeking a motivated Data Center Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on mission-critical data center projects. You will assist with coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring schedules, and upholding quality standards and owner expectations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a Superintendent role within mission-critical construction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction field experience on commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as project assignments require.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, or large commercial projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field activities.
• Coordinate subcontractor work to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Support safety programs, pre-task planning, and toolbox talks.
• Assist with project logistics, site access, material deliveries, and laydown areas.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and field logs.
• Support coordination of complex MEP systems and commissioning activities.
