Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Center Field Operations Lead to oversee the infrastructure engineering team. You will guide installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage cabling, with a deep focus on fiber optics and data center connectivity.

You will lead a multi-site team, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement across procedures. The role requires strong leadership, a customer service mindset, and solid knowledge of industry standards while

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in technology services/discipline or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in leading teams and managing installations, services, and maintenance.
• 2+ years of people management, supervisory, team lead, mentoring or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables with leadership in fiber optics.
• Familiarity with industry standards: BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, NEC.
• Certifications such as BICSI TECH or Corning TSLAN-500 are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage cabling and communications cabling.
• Lead a team in pulling cables, racking and stacking equipment, and managing cable infrastructure.
• Ensure quality of fiber and copper connections; oversee troubleshooting and complex technical challenges.
• Develop and enforce Method of Procedure (MOP) and Change MOP guidelines.
• Manage work ticket systems and infrastructure interfaces for efficient project execution.
• Maintain equipment inventories and respond to emergencies to meet SLAs.
• Lead testing with DSX 5000/OTDR testers and manage results.
