Job summary

Pegatron SVR is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to act as the technical bridge between enterprise clients, sales, and engineering teams for data center server and rack solutions.

The role spans from initial design through deployment, coordinating PM, HW/SW, and architecture teams while optimizing RMA processes. Domestic and international travel is required to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in hardware, systems, or field service engineering, preferably in an OEM/ODM environment.
• Solid understanding of server hardware, rack integration, data center infrastructure, ipmitool, Redfish API, and Linux/Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise customers, translating complex requirements into internal engineering and manufacturing plans.
• Align crossfunctional teams (hardware, thermal, BIOS/BMC) to monitor project status and accelerate issue resolution.
• Diagnose systemlevel compute, storage, and network issues (x86/ARM), performing hands-on troubleshooting.
• Assist the HQ RMA management team in organizing the RMA process and providing status updates to all customers.
• Assist sales teams with technical presentations, solution proposals, and PoC demonstrations.
• Provide onsite support at customer facilities; requires domestic and international travel.
