Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the physical infrastructure and reliability of our data centers.

You will supervise 24x7 engineering technicians, drive improvement projects, and coordinate with vendors to meet SLAs while managing operational budgets and on-call response. The role requires experience with electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to maintain high availability with minimal customer impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 5+ direct reports
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical systems
• 3+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure, ensuring high quality work and no impact to customers
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians across their careers
• Lead improvement projects and coordinate with support teams to drive them from conception to completion
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to meet SLAs
• Manage operations budget and expenditures
• Serve as after-hours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for regional data centers
