Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician to support mission-critical data center infrastructure.

You will perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, monitor BMS/EPMS, and troubleshoot issues within defined SLAs, contributing to reliable 24/7 operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment; ensure 24/7 reliability and availability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management program.
• Monitor daily work requests; manage to resolution; execute projects from conception to completion.
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors per established practices and local legislation.
• Shift scheduling varies; up to 12-hour shifts; may rotate; some locations involve on-call rotations.
• Role may support more than one location/site.
