Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Richardson, TX is seeking a 2nd shift Critical Facilities Technician to maintain and monitor data center infrastructure, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and electrical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor readings, and resolve issues to keep 100% uptime.

The role requires 3–5 years in data centers, experience with building systems, CMMS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with building systems, including: UPS systems, emergency generators, HVAC, and switchgear.
• Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite and CMMS.
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
• Preferred: Corrigo experience.
• Universal EPA 608 certification.
• Trained in NFPA70E.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% uptime.
• Monitor operation, record readings, and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation; manage incidents per escalation procedures.
• Perform work orders, vendor management, and customer-facing tickets; ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Learn the data center site to respond to emergencies and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
