Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Building Engineer to manage data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and power distribution. The role requires night shifts and on-site work in Bothell, WA, with emphasis on preventive maintenance, incident management, and adherence to safety procedures.

The candidate should have 2+ years in a data center setting, experience with critical facility systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with building systems, including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgears.
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Monitor operation of HVAC, cooling systems, pumps, valves, and electrical equipment; adjust as needed.
• Record readings and take corrective actions to ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Analyze system performance to identify and resolve malfunctions and incidents.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials handling and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
