Job summary

Aligned Data Centers in Douglasville, GA is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to join our 24x7 operations. You will maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot essential mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and life safety equipment, under the supervision of the Facility Manager.

The role requires hands‑on analysis, preventive maintenance, and timely response to incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3–5 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years in HVAC or mech/electrical tech.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
• Overtime and 12-hour shifts may be required.
• Shift work includes day/night/weekends/holidays.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Operate HVAC, plumbing, generator, fire alarm, life safety, BMS, and digital systems.
• Plan and supervise electrical operations and energy management programs.
• Schedule preventive and contracted maintenance; finalize work orders in CMMS.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with facilities team.
• Review and order materials; ensure safe, compliant operation.
• Ensure proper change control and documentation.
