Job summary

Aligned Data Centers in Douglasville, GA is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to join our on-site team and support 24x7 operations of essential infrastructure.

You'll supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, coordinate with contractors, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role offers overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3–5 years in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years in HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
• Willing to work overtime and longer shifts (12 hour).
• Shifts may require day/night/weekend/holiday work.
• Computer skills required: MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Mechanical areas to include operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generator, life safety, and building management systems.
• Electrical responsibilities include planning, coordinating and supervising electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs.
• Routinely performs preventive maintenance and quality assurance for all maintenance activities.
• Responds to emergency situations and coordinates with the Facility Manager.
